My name is Mar’netta Ann Rankins, and I proudly hold the titles of founder and owner of Pooh’s Little Angels Childcare. As the owner and director, my foremost responsibility is to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for both our children and staff. Building strong, positive relationships with parents and fostering a welcoming atmosphere is also a key part of my role.
Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, I graduated from Roosevelt High School. I am a dedicated mother of six, managing a blended family with my significant other. Before I embarked on this entrepreneurial journey, I worked as a CNA and Med Aide in a nursing home, where I devoted myself to caring for our elderly population.
As a sports enthusiast and mother of sporty children, I am deeply family-oriented and bring this energy into my business. The inspiration behind starting my own childcare business stems from a desire to create a homely, loving, and fun educational environment for children. Most importantly, I aim to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing that their children will be cherished and well taken care of at Pooh’s Little Angels Childcare.
